NATIONAL AUCTIONEERS DAY
The third Saturday of April marks a special day in the auction industry as auctioneers celebrate one of history's oldest professions. Auctioneers recognize this day by giving back to their communities by volunteering their time and services.
To celebrate, many auctioneers spend the day working as volunteers, often in local communities. They’re seen running charity events, using their skills and time to fundraise. Some even hold auctions in which the auctioneers themselves are put up for sale.

Going once……..Going twice……..SOLD!!
According to the National Auctioneers Association, it is estimated that each year in the United States, nearly a quarter-trillion dollars in goods and services are sold by professional auctioneers.
Auctioneers reflect back on one of history’s oldest professions and celebrate the industry’s future each year on the third Saturday in April on National Auctioneers Day.
