Honesty Day

Honesty Day is celebrated on April 30 in the United States. It was invented by M. Hirsh Goldberg, who chose the last day of April since the first day of that month, which is April Fools' Day, celebrates falsehoods. On this day, anyone participating may ask any question they choose and the opposing person should give a truthful and straightforward answer. This is implying that the person who is answering the question has knowledge of Honesty Day.

National Honesty Day

National Honesty Day, when people are encouraged to be more honest and open in their everyday lives, in the workplace, and in interactions with others.

History and Origins

National Honesty Day was founded by author M. Hirsch Goldberg. In doing research for his book entitled The Book of Lies: Schemes, Scams, Fakes, and Frauds That Have Changed the Course of History and Affect Our Daily Lives, he decided that there should be a day devoted to honesty and awareness of the many lies we tell ourselves and each other.

When is Celebration Honesty Day ?  : Always April 30th

National Honesty Day encourages us to be honest today, and everyday. We honestly believe you try your best to be honest.

Honesty is a great virtue. If we want people to believe us when its important, then we need to be open and honest all of the time. We all know about the boy who cried wolf. When a wolf actually appeared, no one believed him.

Celebrate National Honesty Day in a completely open and honest way. There are few rules for this special day......just be honest.
