Title Track Day

Three veterans of the Los Angeles music scene are hosting a vinyl record event at a Pasadena pub on May 23 to celebrate National Title Track Day.

A title track is a song whose title is the same as the album on which it appears (e.g., “Let It Be,” “Born To Run”). Title Track Day gives record stores, bars, festivals, and homes throughout the nation the opportunity to celebrate the power and influence of these songs, typically by gathering music fans together to share, revel in, and argue about their favorite title tracks.

Title Track Day, get out your movies, your old albums, and build a soundtrack for your day entirely from title tracks! If you’re feeling particularly brave, dress up as your favorite character from a film with an awesome title track and watch it with a group of friends. Or if you’d rather get out on the town, go down to a local Karaoke bar and belt out some of your favorite tunes! Whatever you do, don’t let Title Track Day go by without enjoying some of the best music of the ages!
