National Hot Dog and Sausage Council in the USA, announced July as National Hot Dog Month and July 14,2016 as a National Hot Dog Day. Mostly this day celebrated in USA, Canada, Great Britain and Australia. A hot dog looks similar to sandwich and Ingredients are Pork, beef, chicken, bread or bun in seasoning you can use salt, garlic, and paprika. How it is Celebrated?
Alfred Village Hot Dog Day, Annual Hot Dog Lunch on Capitol Hill, Boston Hot Dog Safari, West Virginia Hot Dog Festival are very famous for their Hot Dog Day festival celebration. Internationally huge response is given by public to make the event successful. At Alfred state college students organized Hot Dog Day they raises money for charities purpose. It includes many fun games and contest like a parade, ice cream social, "fun run", mud Olympics, hot dog eating contests, carnival and live music. The Annual Hot Dog Lunch in Washington, D.C is sponsored by the North American Meat Institute,from last 40 years they are providing this service. At the lunch, hot dog companies serve their franks from traditional hot dog carts and popular retired major league baseball players sign autographs for attendees. In 1990s  Boston sports radio host, Eddie Andelman founded The Boston Hot Dog Safari. Its is very popular charity event in boston, earlier an estimated $150,000 dollars was raised to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The event include supply of hot dogs, sausages and ice cream, from entry tickets and  advanced booked tickets they gain money for charity. A charitable event held in Huntington, West Virginia the festival may raise $10,000 or more for the children's cancer unit at the Edwards' Comprehensive Cancer Center.
